This is a recording of me and LingQ Spanish language tutor Berta conversing via Skype. Part 3

I consider myself an advanced beginner / low intermediate Spanish student. I wanted to improve my speaking skills, which are horrid, so I started signing up for conversations on Lingq. I have weekly conversations with Berta and Liszeth, another tutor on LingQ, and both are great!

In this conversation, I tell Berta about a recording in Spanish of Edgar Allan Poe’s „The Telltale Heart“. Berta suggested that I retell her about lessons I have listened to because before we started doing this, I would get much too nervous in our conversations, and she ended up doing most of the talking.

I was extremely nervous, as you can probably tell. I made a LOT of errors, but that’s ok. I am much better now than when I started talking in Spanish. Berta sends me a report after our conversations, and I am becoming more conscious of the areas I need to improve. This, along with my listening, reading, writing, and reviewing vocabulary on LingQ, are helping me to gain fluency in Spanish.
